Autism Spectrum Disorders
Students are typically supported within their designated community school. Some students may require additional support not available at the community
school. Here are some of the specialty programs available to your child:

Cognitive Developmental Disabilities
These are programs for students with mild-severe cognitive delays. Some students will be part of inclusion programs within local community schools, and others may access specialized classes with residential community schools, or in special facilities. Here are the options for your child:

Students who are gifted do have special needs. The extremely high nature of their cognitive ability presents the gifted child with different learning, social and emotional needs than a typical learner. The child will need to be assessed (psycho-educational assessment) to determine specific needs.
